If you’re an online coach, course creator, or service provider selling through webinars, you already know how powerful Facebook ads can be.
They can help you get more people into your webinars, build your audience, generate qualified leads, and ultimately grow your business.
But there’s one problem we hear all the time:
“I know Facebook ads work, but I don’t want to spend my entire day inside Ads Manager.”
We get it.
Between campaign objectives, ad sets, targeting, creatives, copy, budgets, tracking, and scheduling, setting up a campaign can feel like a full-time job.
And if you’re currently paying an agency thousands of dollars every month just to manage the technical side of your ads, you may be wondering if there’s a better way.
That’s exactly what we want to show you.
In this guide, we’re walking you through how we use Claude + a Meta Ads connection + a custom campaign-building skill to create Facebook ad campaigns through a much simpler, conversational process.
Instead of manually clicking through a million different buttons, you can answer a series of questions, review the campaign, and have the structure built for you.
Let’s get into it.
Before we show you how the technology works, let’s talk about something we believe is incredibly important:
Who should actually be running your ads?
If you’re a busy business owner, your first instinct might be:
“I don’t have time to run my own ads. I’d rather pay an agency $5K a month and let them handle it.”
And honestly, we understand why that sounds appealing.
But we also believe that outsourcing your entire advertising operation can become a major problem as your business grows.
Here’s how the traditional agency model often works:
You hire an agency.
The agency assigns you an account manager.
The account manager communicates with a media buyer.
And that media buyer may be managing 20 to 25 different businesses at the same time.
Now ask yourself:
How much attention is your business actually getting?
In a structure like that, you’re not necessarily getting the full focus of the person responsible for your ads. And you’re paying for all the layers of that infrastructure.
That’s one of the reasons agency fees can become so expensive.
It’s not just about the media buyer. You’re also paying for the account managers, the operational structure, and all the middlemen involved in the process.
And as you scale your advertising, that cost can become harder and harder to justify.
What we prefer is an in-house advertising model.
That doesn’t mean you personally have to sit in Ads Manager all day.
You could have:
A virtual assistant
A full-time employee
A trusted team member
A spouse or family member
Or someone else you trust to manage the process
The important thing is that the advertising function lives inside your business.
And this is where AI becomes incredibly powerful.
Instead of expecting one person to manually do everything, we can connect that person to specialized AI tools that help with:
Facebook ads
Email marketing
Text marketing
Content creation
Campaign operations
Other repetitive marketing tasks
The result is that one capable marketer can potentially handle a much larger workload than they could on their own.
That’s the model we believe is worth building: a lean, in-house marketing operation supported by the right AI tools.
And now, let’s show you how we’re applying that idea to Facebook ads.
Before you can follow this process, you’ll need a few things in place.
First, you’ll need a Claude account so you can access the AI assistant and its customization features.
You’ll also need a properly configured Facebook or Meta advertising account.
Your pixel is an important part of your tracking setup. It helps you measure activity and understand what happens after people interact with your ads.
You’ll want your business assets and advertising account organized within Meta’s business tools.
The workflow we’re demonstrating uses an MCP connector to connect Claude with Meta Ads.
One important note: not every ad account may be eligible for this connection yet. Availability can depend on the account and the functionality currently supported.
So, if you don’t see the option available, you may need to wait until your account becomes eligible.
Let’s keep this simple.
An MCP connector is a way for different software systems to communicate with each other.
Think of it like a translator.
Claude and Meta Ads are two different software systems. Normally, they don’t just automatically communicate back and forth.
The connector creates a bridge between them.
In this case, that bridge allows Claude to work with supported Meta Ads functionality, which is what makes this workflow possible.
Here’s the general process we demonstrate:
Open your Claude account.
Go to Customize.
Navigate to Connectors.
Click Add.
Choose the option to add a custom connector.
Name the connector something like Meta Ads MCP.
Enter the connector URL you’re using.
Click Continue.
Authenticate your Facebook or Meta account.
Review the permissions Claude is requesting.
Choose the permission settings that make sense for your workflow.
Complete the connection.
Once that’s done, Claude should be connected to your Meta Ads account, assuming your account is supported.
One thing we strongly recommend: Pay attention to permissions. Don’t blindly authorize everything. Review what the connector can access and use approval-based settings where appropriate.
Now, connecting Claude to Meta Ads is useful.
But the part that makes this workflow really powerful is the custom skill we built.
We created a skill called Meta Campaign Build.
A skill is essentially a reusable set of instructions.
You can take your:
Standard operating procedures
Campaign preferences
Marketing knowledge
Internal processes
Advertising structure
Best practices
…and package them into a skill that Claude can use whenever you need it.
Think of it as giving Claude an instruction manual for how you want your campaigns built.
Instead of starting from scratch every time, you can call on that skill and have Claude follow the process you’ve already defined.
Once you have the skill file, the process is straightforward:
Go to Customize in Claude.
Open the Skills tab.
Click Add.
Upload the skill.
Return to a new conversation.
Type / to view your available skills.
Select Meta Campaign Build.
Now Claude can use those instructions to guide the campaign-building process.
And this is where things get interesting.
Once the skill is loaded, Claude walks you through a series of questions.
In our example, the campaign setup covers eight main areas.
The first question is:
Which ad account are we building in?
If you have multiple ad accounts, you’ll need to select the correct one.
Make sure you’re working in the account connected to the business and campaign you actually want to run.
Next, Claude asks you to confirm the Facebook page and pixel you want to use.
These are important because the page represents the business behind the ad, while the pixel supports tracking and measurement.
Double-check that you’re selecting the right assets before moving forward.
Now Claude asks:
Where are we sending people?
This is the URL people will visit after clicking your ad.
For example, you might send them to:
A webinar registration page
An application page
A coaching program page
A sales page
Another relevant landing page
If you’re running ads to fill a webinar, you’ll want to enter the webinar registration page.
In our example, we use a coaching-program destination to demonstrate the process.
The key is to make sure your destination matches the offer you’re advertising.
Next, Claude asks what you’re optimizing for.
This is where strategy matters.
Depending on your business and funnel, you may want to optimize for leads, sales, or another supported objective.
In our example, we choose Leads.
But we want to be clear about something:
There is no single campaign objective that is automatically right for every business.
The best choice depends on your funnel, your conversion events, your tracking, and what you’re actually trying to accomplish.
This is one of the reasons having someone who understands your numbers and your business model is so important.
Now we get into targeting.
Claude asks who you want the campaign to reach.
This is where you define things such as:
Location
Age range
Gender
In our example, we use:
United States
Men and women
Ages 25 to 60
These settings are used to define the audience at the ad set level.
Of course, your own targeting should be based on your ideal customer, your offer, and the audience you’re trying to reach.
Next up: creatives.
In our example, we use:
Two images
One video
The idea is to give the campaign multiple creative options to test.
Here’s an important technical detail we learned through this process:
Your images and videos need to be hosted at publicly accessible URLs.
That means Claude needs to be able to access the media through a link that doesn’t require a sign-in.
For example, a private Google Drive or Dropbox link may not work if it requires authentication.
Instead, you’ll want to use a media host that provides a public URL.
In our example, we use Communicate.io for media storage. We upload our images and videos there, then copy the links into Claude.
When we’re running ads, we want our creative to support the message and the offer.
For example, in this campaign, we use social proof to demonstrate credibility.
Our creative examples include:
A video of us receiving an award from Myron Golden for generating $100,000 in one day
An image of us appearing on major podcasts
A screenshot showing a reported 306% ROI from webinar advertising
The idea is simple:
If we’re promoting a program that teaches coaches how to run ads into webinars, we want the creative to demonstrate that we have experience doing the thing we’re teaching.
Your own creative should follow the same principle.
Show people why they should pay attention to your offer.
One more detail: if you’re uploading a video this way, make sure you also provide a video thumbnail.
Facebook needs a thumbnail for the video ad to display properly.
So, when we upload a video, we also provide the image we want to use as its thumbnail.
It’s a small step, but it’s important.
Now we get to the copy.
In our example, we ask Claude to create:
Three primary text options
Two headline options
We like to split test our ad copy and headlines because the words you use matter.
A lot.
The copy in your ads is not just there to fill space.
It helps determine who pays attention, who clicks, and who feels like your offer is relevant to them.
The right messaging should attract the people who are a good fit while naturally repelling the people who aren’t.
That’s especially important for coaches.
You don’t just want more leads.
You want the right leads.
Depending on your campaign, you can test different angles, such as:
The opening hook
The problem you’re addressing
The outcome you’re offering
The webinar’s value
The reason someone should register
The headline’s main emphasis
Claude can help you organize and generate variations, but the strategy behind the messaging still matters.
You need to understand your audience, your offer, and what makes your webinar worth attending.
The final questions cover your budget and schedule.
In our example, we use a budget of $100 per day.
But that’s just an example.
Your budget needs to make sense for your business.
Before deciding how much to spend, you should understand things like:
Your cost per lead
Your webinar registration rate
Your sales conversion rate
Your customer acquisition cost
Your available advertising budget
Your ability to follow up with leads
The goal isn’t to pick a random number and hope it works.
The goal is to understand your economics so you can make informed decisions.
In our example, we schedule the campaign to launch the following morning at 7 a.m.
Your schedule may be different depending on your audience, time zone, and campaign strategy.
Once you’ve entered all the information, Claude provides a recap of the campaign so you can review everything before moving forward.
This is one of our favorite parts of the workflow.
The campaign is created in draft mode first.
That means it doesn’t just immediately start spending your money.
Instead, you can review what Claude has built before you approve the launch.
The generated campaign includes the structure and settings you would normally configure inside Meta Ads Manager, including:
Campaign settings
Ad set configuration
Budget
Schedule
Targeting
Website URL
Creative assets
Primary text
Headlines
Once the campaign is created, you can click the link to view it in Meta Ads Manager.
And when you open it, you can see the campaign structure that Claude built.
The campaign is organized just as it would be if you had manually created it inside Ads Manager.
The difference is that instead of spending all your time clicking through the interface, you answered a series of questions.
That’s the real benefit.
There’s another part of this workflow that we think is extremely important: tracking.
Because creating ads is only one part of the process.
You also need to know what those ads are actually doing.
We’ve configured our skill to check website events and make sure the appropriate pixel tracking is selected.
This is important because missing or incorrect tracking can make it difficult to understand campaign performance.
You want to know what happens after someone clicks your ad.
Did they register for your webinar?
Did they apply?
Did they eventually become a customer?
That information matters.
We’ve also added UTM parameters to the campaign URLs.
UTM parameters help you identify where traffic and leads are coming from.
When you connect that information to your CRM, you can get a clearer picture of which campaigns and ads are generating registrations.
For example, you may be able to see:
Which campaign generated a lead
Which ad someone clicked
Which creative variation drove the registration
Which traffic source contributed to your webinar funnel
This is why we believe having a CRM and proper tracking is so important.
You don’t just want to know how many leads you got. You want to know where those leads came from.
The reason we focus so heavily on webinar advertising is simple:
Webinars are an incredibly powerful way to build trust, educate an audience, and sell an offer.
A webinar allows you to communicate your message to one person or to a thousand people without having to repeat the same conversation individually.
That makes the model highly scalable.
It can help you:
Build your email list
Grow your audience
Educate potential customers
Build trust
Present your offer
Generate leads
Create a repeatable sales process
And you can do all of that from your own office.
You don’t need to be physically in the same room as your audience.
For coaches and service-based businesses, that combination of education, trust, and scalability is a major reason we believe webinars deserve serious attention.
Here’s the entire process at a glance:
1
Prepare your assets
Get your Meta Ads account, pixel, destination URL, audience information, and creative files ready.
2
Connect Claude to Meta Ads
Add the MCP connector, authenticate your account, and review permissions.
3
Upload your campaign-building skill
Add your reusable campaign instructions and preferred advertising process.
4
Answer the campaign questions
Define your account, page, pixel, URL, objective, audience, creatives, copy, budget, and schedule.
5
Review the draft
Open the campaign in Meta Ads Manager and verify the settings, creative assets, URLs, and tracking.
6
Approve, launch, and monitor
Launch after review, then track performance and use the data to improve your campaigns.
We want to make one thing clear:
This workflow does not replace marketing strategy.
AI can help you build campaigns faster. It can help organize your process, generate variations, and reduce repetitive work.
But you still need to know:
Who you’re targeting
What your offer is
Why your webinar matters
What your campaign is optimizing for
What your numbers look like
How you’re tracking results
How you’re following up with leads
What makes a campaign successful
If your offer is weak, your messaging is unclear, or your tracking is broken, AI won’t magically fix those problems.
The technology is powerful, but it works best when it’s connected to a solid strategy and a well-defined process.
We’ve been running ads and helping coaches fill webinars for years, and one thing we’ve learned is that the technical side of advertising should not be the thing holding your business back.
You should be spending your time improving your offer, understanding your audience, creating better messaging, and building a business that can scale.
That’s why we’re excited about workflows like this.
By connecting Claude to Meta Ads and giving it a clear campaign-building skill, you can simplify a process that used to involve endless clicking, complicated setup, and a lot of manual work.
You still need to review your campaigns. You still need to understand your numbers. And you still need a strategy.
But you no longer have to approach every campaign as if you’re starting from zero.
That’s the opportunity: build a smarter, leaner, AI-supported in-house marketing system.
If you want to try this workflow for yourself, start by getting your Meta Ads account, pixel, destination URL, and creative assets ready.
Then, explore how a custom campaign-building skill can help you streamline your advertising process.
And if you’re a coach who wants help with more than just running ads, we can help with that too.
Our done-with-you mentorship is designed to help coaches improve the pieces that make webinar campaigns successful, including:
Webinar presentations

Slides
Offer positioning
Scripts
Funnels
Automations
Marketing systems
Tracking
KPIs and campaign numbers
If you want to move faster and have support building those systems, you can apply to work with us through the link in the video description.
